Welcome to the King Tut Drive-In Web site. The King Tut Drive-In is a family owned business focusing on serving high quality food for families on the go. Our establishment is located in Beckley, West Virginia, and has been in business as a Drive-In restaurant since the early 1940's. It has been under the ownership of the McKay family since 1955. Our large menu consists of a combination of Sandwich items, Pizzas, and Full Dinners, all of which can be enjoyed on our premises in your automobile, or can be taken home. Many of our menu items originate from recipes handed down within our family. We make our own breads, pies, and many of our sandwiches are served on our homemade buns. All bread items are baked on the premises. All of our pies are made daily. Our award winning pork barbeque for sandwiches is also made on a weekly basis. Our twice-baked potatoes are very popular. Our father introduced Stone Baked Pizza to Beckley in the 1950's. (He initially had to give away samples to get folks to try pizza!). Even our Hot Dogs are unique and extremely popular. We do not take short cuts with ingredients. For instance milkshakes are made using real ice cream. Our pies do not contain preservatives and our soups are made from scratch. In late 2004, King Tut was voted one of the “Top 55 Must See” places to visit in West Virginia. We couldn't agree more. So, if you are in the area or are passing through, please stop for a visit.
